Job Description

Description of the Business Line or DepartmentThe Client Solutions Group is responsible for developing and managing client solutions for Kleinwort Hambros. The purpose of the group is to bring together our client solutions into one group by harmonising and strengthening the offer, including developingproducts and services to empower client-facing staff to deliver exceptional client service and win new business.Summary of the key purposes of the roleThe primary purpose of the role is to support the New Product and Product Governance Committee (NPPGC), by;

  • Organising and managing the New Product Committee including the arrangement of any pre-committees, ad hoc committees and the governance of the committee is adhered to.
  • Ensure that the new product is launched once all the preconditions set by the experts in charge of these reserves are closed.
  • Assisting on the production of presentations and reports as and when required.
  • Support the wider Risk and Oversight team to deliver product governance responsibilities.
Summary of responsibilitiesNew product committee
  • Organise, if needed, according to the product complexity, a NPC pre-committee and invite the validating members and departments in charge of the control and expertise of the functions concerned.
  • Verify that the sponsor has ensured that any new products is in line with Business units strategy.
  • Verify that all opinions have been collected and are clearly expressed and formalised in the new product management tool prior to the committee meeting to ensure that the committee can make informed decisions.
  • Formalise the minutes of all committees listing the pre-conditions, post conditions and permanent restrictions and send to the various participants.
  • Before any new product is launched, that all the pre-conditions set by the experts in charge of these reserves are closed
  • Ensure any post conditions are duly closed within the required time frame and recommends actions i.e. Blocking, extensions, to the committee co-chairs if the risk is not mitigated as planned by the committee.
  • Ensure that the approval process for new products is consistent, works accordingly and correctly aligned to the SG Code and governance framework set in the Terms of Reference.
Product Governance
  • Work alongside the rest of the CSG Operations and Risk to support when required to deliver on a number of product governance deliveries such as:
    • Living product review
    • Target Market reviews
    • Dashboard data maintained and updated.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with the principles outlined in the SG Code of Conduct, as well as the policies and procedures relevant to your responsibilities, to ensure that you adhere to a culture that treats clients fairly and focuses on the longterm sustainability of client relationships
  • Complete all work and learning when required
