Job Description

Network Security Engineer required for a Industry-leading Fintech to support their high performance system,resolving enterprise level security issues.The role will suit a candidate with a broad understanding of enterprise network security, with particular skills in a commercial setting of implementing complex concepts in Palo Alto security appliances and you will have operational experience of a large, complex network environments.Skills and Experience Summary

  • Proven ability to understand and implement complex network security concepts
  • Experience of firewalls ( Palo Alto, Sonic Wall)
  • Strong knowledge of routers, switches and network protocols
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and SMTP.
  • Establishing and enforcing Group Policy on Active Directory
  • Knowledge of cloud-based environments Azure
  • Experience in secure systems and controls for Identity and Access Management
  • Monitor security incidents and investigate incidents.
  • relevant security certifications, ideally CISSP, GIAC or CISM
