Network Operations Engineer - Financial Services - £65,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Job Description

Network Operations Engineer required by a leading exchange in the heart of London. Hybrid working model with 3 days currently WFH p/week.My client is looking to hire a Network Operations Engineer with experience working for an Exchange / Financial Service provider. This is a 2nd line support role responsible for the delivery of a variety of tasks all relating to network support engineering.You will be joining a small team of 4 including this hire, which is a diverse team with supportive culture - looking to encourage fresh ideas and change things up. My client wants to secure keen talent - someone looking for the opportunity to own workloads/assignmentsfrom start to finish and go the extra mile to get things done!You will need strong knowledge and experience of SolarWinds monitoring platform as well as good experience in 2nd Line Networking Support. You will be required to cover an on-call rota (1 week per month) as well as some weekend work (TOIL/paid extra). Weekendwork is likely to be no more than 2 Saturdays p/month where possible.Key Requirements:

• Experience working for an exchange/financial service provider
• Good experience working as a 2nd line network support engineer (Cisco/Arista/Fortinet/Checkpoint/F5)
• SolarWinds administration
