Job Description

I am working with a prestigious IT Solutions Provider who require a number of experienced Firewall Engineers to support a large-scale transformation programme, on behalf of a well-known financial institution who operate globally.I am looking for 2 experienced Firewall Engineers with very strong F5 skills, within regulated environments.This role has been deemed inside IR35 and is a fully remote contract.Role Responsibilities:

  • You will be a senior member of the Networking team who will be responsible for the design and support of various network security solutions.
  • You will be proactive in collating knowledge from various sources, bringing it together to form an end-to-end solution for the customer.
  • You will be confident in your ability to explain complex solutions to the end customer, whilst liaising with internal stakeholders.
Skills/Experience required:
  • A minimum of 5 years commercial experience with designing, implementing and supporting complex networks is absolutely essential.
  • Your skill-set will be heavily focused on migrations, specifically from Juniper SRX to FortiNet firewalls
  • Excellent knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol Suite, VLSM, IP address allocation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Cisco Routing & Switching (ACI, NXOS, Arista, ASR, CSR, CSP).
  • Detailed and thorough understanding of products from multiple vendors (Juniper, F5 and Fortinet).
  • Commercial experience with implementing Software Defined Networks is highly advantageous.
  • Any commercial experience with stakeholder management would be extremely beneficial.
