Experience with using protocols like REST API, NETCONF, REST-CONF, YANG, Automation skills using Ansible or Puppet or Chef or Salt. Scripting experience using Python or R or Java. Linux/Unix sysadmin skills. Experience with IaC (Terraform, Cloud Formation Templates) configurations. Knowledge of TCP/IP stack. Network diagnostic and monitoring tools (i.e. Solar Winds Orion, ExtraHop, ITRS/Geneos, Cisco Prime, DNA). Control models and network security on the following platforms: ASA, PaloAlto, F5, Sourcefire, and IOS/NX-OS and IOS/NX-OS. Planning, design, rollout and support of F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM. Cisco VoIP, SIP/H.323/MGCP, Call Manager/Unified Communications Manager. IaC skills such as Terraform and Cloud Formation Templates. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is beneficial. Experience at the Associate to Professional level (CCNA, CCNP) in networking (wired or wireless). Commercial years of relevant work experience with automation and scripting technologies. Working experience with SAFe Agile Framework or showing an aptitude for being able to adapt. From a technical perspective, this is an opportunity to use new-to-market technologies such as Cisco ACI, VMWare NSX. We also look for technologists with the unique blend of expertise in cloud computing (AWS) and advanced routing.
