Network Analyst£50,000Central LondonThe roleThe IT Infrastructure team are responsible for the support and delivery of technologies based on global standards for the main branch in London and subsidiary branches in Europe. Adopting security solutions to combat evolving threats, reporting to the Senior Network Analyst, the candidate will be primarily responsible for managing and troubleshooting the key applications and infrastructure through which our client provides services to UK and European users, principally, CISCO networks, firewalls, security solutions, telephony, and cable management. The security and support of our network are paramount. Predominately a support role (BAU) with involvement in the design of scalable solutions deliverable through projects. Encompassing numerous technologies that benefit high-availability solutions. A fast thinker who can diagnose, assist others and remediate BAU support issues. Maintain documentation and networking diagrams for both support and stringent internal audits. This role requires a responsible individual who can support to root cause analysis.Key duties·Work within the Infrastructure team in supporting and delivering all aspect of services ·BAU encompassing networks, telephony, PABX, voice recording, desk moves and changes ·Support annual Disaster Recovery invoking/testing ·Contribute to design, build and implementation of firewall solutions from perimeter to DMZ roles ·Support IPS deployment for EAB branches ·Develop, maintain and deliver global standards to all networking devices ·Interpret network security reports ·Assist with seamless migration of network estate to the newly adopted security framework ·Facilitate internal/external Audits and Penetration Testing. ·Remediation ·Treasury solutions such as IPC turrets Skills required·In-depth knowledge of CISCO including firewalls, switches and routing protocols ·In-depth understanding of supporting a data centre with branch interconnectivity (LES circuits) ·CISCO certification required CCNA ·VPN technologies (IPSEC) ·Security certification (advantageous)·Experience working within mission-critical environments ·Experience in operational deployments·Maintains required industry recognised skills through training and self-study methodsCompany overviewOur client is part of Banking Group has a global network of branches across five continents.
