An innovative, growing, branded food manufacturing business is now seeking a National Account Manager to join their team, offering a salary up to £33,000 plus bonus, pension and flexible working hours, including the option to be home based for part of the week. Supplying a range of high quality products to several major retailers and restaurant chains, they also have a strong online presence and now need a NAM who can develop business in the independent wholesale and eCommerce channels. This is a newly created role and is seen as a crucial to helping them achieve their plans for growth in 2021. As a National Account Manager, you will: - Working with the Commercial Manager, you will have full P&L responsibility and full ownership of the Wholesale and eCommerce channels.- Win new business and develop strong relationships with key customers in order to achieve budgeted sales revenue targets.- Work closely with the NPD and Marketing teams to develop promotional activities, promote new products, and drive brand awareness.- Report on sales performance versus agreed budgets and targets.We are looking for a National Account Manager with the following skills and experience: - Prior experience of working in sales roles with branded food businesses, with a strong track record in winning new business and developing existing accounts.- Proactive sales professional with excellent communication and presentation skills, who can manage the full sales process and manage a busy workload effectively.- Strong commercial acumen; able to manage their own P&L and comfortable working with a high level of autonomy.- A team player; you’ll be joining a small team so will need to be highly motivated and keen to support colleagues across the business.You will be joining a food manufacturing business which offers a great welcoming environment and recognises and welcomes the value of diversity.
