We have 90 years’ experience of retirement home design and living in London.Our Fit Future Strategy 2017 - 2027 guides our path through a journey of property and service developments, making us fit and ready with a strong foundation for a new period of growth.C&C DirectC&C Direct was set up in April 2018 as an in-house Repairs Team providing day-to-day repairs to C&C properties. We have a close-knit team of experts delivering excellent repairs services to our residents.Your RoleAs a Multi-Trade Repairs Operative, you will have responsibility for day-to-day repairs and maintenance work in our vacant properties, bringing them back up to standard for letting. This will involve carpentry and plumbing, as well as painting and decorating. You will also be responsible for remedial works, therefore, experience and skill to carry out this type of work is essential. A vehicle, fuel card, uniform and power tools will be provided.To succeed, you’ll need:- A City & Guilds qualification or up to NVQ Level 3 in at least one trade (painting & decorating, plumbing or carpentry) and competency in other maintenance-related repair work- A full, clean manual driving licence- A CSCS card- To be a skilled repairs operative with demonstrable experience of working in a social housing environment- The ability to work safely and in compliance with health and safety requirements- Knowledge of NHF schedule of rates codes as a way of accurately pricing work- The ability to complete paperwork / PDA data entry accurately and to a high standard- Sound knowledge of performance management and how this contributes to business success- A strong commitment to providing a high-quality service- The ability to work to tight deadlines- The ability to undertake tasks without supervision and work individually and in a team- To communicate effectively with residents and other stakeholders- The ability to develop your own skills and learn new onesC&C is passionate about fostering Diversity, Inclusion and Gender balance across the organisation and we always welcome applicants from diverse and BAME backgrounds.Do you feel this is the right position for you Apply with your most up-to-date CV.
