Job Description

Mortgage Compliance Monitoring Executive position available with Prestigious London Mortgage Brokerage!Up to £35k salary - Stunning offices based in Mayfair About the CompanyThe business youll be working for is considered to be the worlds leading mortgage provider for high profile, high net worth individuals, providing mortgage solutions for the most complex and fascinating financial scenarios.Working in the UK and internationally, with both residential and commercial property, arranging complex multi-million-pound mortgages.The company has continued to successfully evolve within an ever-changing market, having advised on over half a billion pounds of transactions last year alone.The Compliance Monitoring Executive RoleThis is a full-time role to join our energetic team, to provide comprehensive support to the head of compliance to maintain the smooth day-to-day running of the compliance department.Being an energetic and proactive multi-tasker, you will be responsible for companywide compliance monitoring activities.Youll use your organisational, communication and inter-personal skills to establish and develop trusting, long-term relationships with brokers and suppliers. Youll be encouraged to sit at the table, become one of the team, and put your ideas forwardon ways the company can improve internally as well as support and protect clients and the market.

  • Completing pre audit monitoring to SLAs
  • Assist the HOC with file audits
  • Review and sign off financial promotions
  • Conduct Gifts and Hospitality and Fit & Proper Monitoring
  • Being frontline assistance for broker and administrators compliance queries
  • Handling highly confidential documentation
  • Call and CAS monitoring
  • Ensuring file compliance is at a high standard
  • Monitoring and enforcing processes and policies
  • Contributing to MI and board reporting
  • Maintaining the compliance database
The Ideal Compliance Monitoring Executive
  • Used to working under pressure, to tight deadlines
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail whilst understanding the bigger picture
  • Strong work ethic, with proactive approach and excellent time-management
  • Professional presentation and demeanour
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
  • A team player with ability to work on own initiative when required
  • Respond to changing circumstances, be flexible and manage change within a dynamic environment
  • Advanced PC skills, including Office 365 suite
  • Excellent written and spoken English
Desirable Experience:
  • At least 1 year experience within a compliance department or similar role within a regulated environment
  • Be familiar with the mortgage process and AML/KYC requirements
  • Possessing any compliance related qualifications or CeMAP would be advantageous (via ICA/CII/LIFB)
The Compliance Monitoring Executive Package
  • Basic salary: £30,000 - £35,000
  • Office Hours 8:45am - 5:30pm
  • 25 days holiday per year, plus 1 additional day per year of service
