The City & Capital recruitment team are currently representing an ambitious and well respected mortgage brokerage that have retained our services in order to appoint a CeMAP qualified Mortgage Adviser to join their growing team.The appointment is part of a broader growth plan that could allow the successful individual to build a team beneath them, once excellent performance is delivered.The broker assists consumers directly in attaining access to funds for their mortgages and has whole of market access to key lenders and banks in the market to support this. You will be closely affiliated to a highly respected mortgage network as part of this role.Our client receives a number of inbound applications directly to the firm. Your role will be to engage with these clients, to asses and complete a full fact find before supporting them with access to the right loan to suit their needs, as per availability within the market.In addition you will also be asked to undertake business development activity by working with the professional introducer market, such as accountants, solicitors and IFA’s who can offer access to clients requiring residential debt. You may also use a personal network and other methods to generate business in order to achieve targets agreed.Due to the nature of the role the ideal individual will have a CeMAP qualification and ready to support potential borrowers from day one. You will have an excellent understanding of the regulation involved and the principles of lending, as well as an excellent ability to manage and maintain client & lender relationships across the course of the lending cycle, and in line with agreed SLA’s.The brokerage also offers commercial finance access and you will work closely with the commercial finance broker where required, who in turn will be able to assist your access to residential clients further still.You will be thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment and will be at your best when working to deadlines and expectations. This appointment is part of a wider set of objectives to continue the growth of the broker in the UK market and due to this opportunities to propel your own career standing and earnings forward quickly within may be prevalent, once excellent performance is delivered.You will be based in Mayfair, W1 between Monday - Friday each week, though may be asked to work from home or to undertake some travel where the business requires it:Experience:
