Our staff always go the extra mile in caring for our patients which can be demonstrated by our recent outstanding rating awarded by the CQC.Job DescriptionAs a Molecular Imaging Technologist/Radiographer, you will work within the Molecular Imaging team providing clinical support and assisting with Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures. The Harley Street Clinic Molecular Imaging Centre is located at 154 Harley Street. The centre incorporates all aspects of oncological and non-oncological radioisotope imaging as well as radioisotope therapy. The centre has 1 digital PET/CT scanner and one SPECT/CT gamma-camera and offers diagnostic molecular imaging tests for both adult and paediatric patients.This is a full-time permanent role working 37.5hrs per week to work Monday – Friday with a variety of shift patterns depending on clinical need.The attractive and competitive salary for this role is between £40,264 - £44,661 (dependent upon skills and experience.Reward & recognition –We reward your commitment in delivering the highest standard of care with generous and competitive benefits such as our contribution pension scheme, private medical insurance, annual salary review, 247.5hrs holiday each year; with the option to buy and sell. We can also offer you support with relocation if you are living outside of London or the UK; subject to terms and conditions.Duties & Responsibilities·Skillfully provide accurate diagnostic imaging services·Achieve and maintain high standards of practice within all areas of the department·Comply with legislative and hospital policies and procedure, ensuring patient safety- particularly relating to Radiation Protection for both adult and paediatric patients·Practice a high level of customer care·Work within a multi-disciplinary team to maximise clinical efficiency·To rotate between areas/modalities as required·To maintain accurate examination records and archived images·To assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary·Support departmental audits in accordance with clinical governance policiesSkills & Experience·Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Radiography/Medical Radiations/Nuclear Medicine·HCPC or RCT registered·Previous experience in all aspects of SPECT/CT and PET/CT scanning to a very high level of competence·Intravenous/cannulation certificate·For Radiographers: Competent in CT (essential)About The IndividualAt HCA UK we recognise and value everyone as unique and individual; treat people with kindness and compassion; act with absolute honesty, integrity, and fairness and trust and treat one another as valued members of the HCA UK family.
