Location: Newbury or London Southwark (Blended office/home working)The Mobile Product and Propositions team is at the heart of Vodafone Business. The team plays an integral part in driving Vodafones ambition within the IT and Communications market. The team is primarily responsible for delivering products and propositionsthat add clear, differentiated value and achieve great outcomes for both our customers and our business. This enables Vodafone Business to strengthen our position in the market, and achieve our ambitions for profitable growth.The Product Manager role in the mobile product and proposition team requires a great understanding of our customers needs, our competitors strengths and weaknesses, and the wider insurance market. A sharp focus and efficient execution will be required tomake your ideas a reality. We are also looking for an individual with flair and imagination to think differently about insurance for the future; all great sales journeys start with the customer proposition.This is an exciting period for the Product and Propositions team, with fast moving market dynamics, changing technologies and adapting to ever changing customer behaviours. The purpose of the Insurance Product Manager role is to help us manage and grow Insurancewithin Vodafone Business in the UK to meet and exceed the fast, changing needs of our customers. Youll be driving our insurance partners to deliver for Vodafone, as well as being the champion for our insurance portfolio. As this rolefocusses primarily across our existing insurance product portfolio you will need to ensure that our products are fit for purpose and are continually evolving to meet our customers needs and expectations. You will work very closely with local segment teams,group product and platform managers, and be responsible for executing the overall product and distribution strategies in the UK. What will you be doing

• Define and drive the requirements definition and UI/UX design process to develop, launch & improve Insurance products and propositions.
• Bring innovative and differentiating insurance product ideas to the existing portfolio.
• Support the proposition development process including helping with Go To Market planning & proactively progress ongoing activities.
• Establish and maintain a best in class approach to customer outcomes when developing products.
• Lead all in-life management (including design & implementation, review and withdrawal) by delivering and prioritizing existing insurance products, working closely with all stakeholders (Propositions, Sales, Product, Governance, Compliance, IT, CVM, Marketing,Group teams etc.) in Vodafone UK. Be responsible for commercial & performance reporting to the UK and Group teams, and ensure that all targets are hit.
• Analyse UK market trends, perform competitor analysis, and constantly propose new ways of enhancing customer satisfaction whilst also increasing revenue, margins and uplift.
• Steer & challenge the Delivery team, Technology teams, User Experience teams and external vendors to deliver the defined Insurance services according to time and quality specifications.
• Own and actively develop relationships with our current insurance business partners & vendors.
• Engage with senior stakeholders as a champion of the product or proposition.
• Collaborate as a team player with all Vodafone UK stakeholders.

Who are we looking for

• Experienced in financial services, insurance product lifecycle management and digital products (5+ years).
• Understanding of and delivery to regulatory standards and requirements (FCA ICOBS, & PROD related rules and regulations).
• Product risk management including identification and escalation where required.
• In-depth understanding of customer expectations, needs and requirements.
• System related knowledge for efficiently supporting product management.
• Ability to communicate effectively, inspire and influence customers and stakeholders.
• Excellent product portfolio management skills with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Strong understanding of products both in OTT and for Telco competition including factoring in underlying consumer trends.
• Exceptional communication & influencing skills with an impact required for interaction with senior stakeholders.
• Experience in a complex, multi-national environment.
• Background in proposition development and product lifecycle management for Business or Consumer services in the mobile or software industry with a proven track record of delivering products.
