* You must be a British national OR have lived in the UK for 5+ years* BA/BS Degree desirable; practical experience/expertise is essential* Desired knowledge in ECM, QM, and PM SAP modulesMM/PP SAP Business Analyst£70-75KBased on site in Chelmsford areaYou must be a British national OR have lived in the UK for 5+ years due to Security Clearance requirementsA prominent organisation based in the Chelmsford area is in search of a skilled MM/PP Business Analyst.The ideal candidate will bring valuable experience from the retail, food, or manufacturing sectors.The MM/PP Business Analyst will tackle intricate business challenges using SAP (ECC and S/4 HANA) and other relevant business applications.Your role involves providing technical expertise to identify, evaluate, and develop systems and procedures that optimize cost-effectiveness, enhance business performance, and align with user requirements.Key responsibilities include configuring system settings, executing unit and integration testing, and creating specifications for systems to meet business needs.Proficiency in design, configuration, and functionality within the MM/PP modules is essential, and familiarity with other SAP modules would be advantageous.Key Skills and Responsibilities:* You must be a British national OR have lived in the UK for 5+ years due to Security Clearance requirements* Strong SAP technical, configuration, and business area knowledge in MM/PP module.* Configuration expertise at a project level.* Desired knowledge in ECM, QM, and PM SAP modules.* Translate user requests into application system solutions.* Analyse system user requirements and implement system configuration, enhancements, and modifications.* Collaborate with various internal and external groups to resolve business issues.* Work in multidisciplinary teams to define and design processes for SAP configuration, upgrade, & maintenance.* Define requirements for specific forms and reports.* Design and execute test plans, validate test data, and document test results.* Coordinate end-user training documentation and provide training as required.* Conduct detailed analysis of business practices and redesign procedures to align with SAP functionality.* Utilize query and reporting tools to deliver flexible and timely information to system users.* Coordinate project management functions for user groups, including planning, scheduling, tracking, and problem-solving.* May contribute to the support and maintenance of non-SAP applications or systems.* Participate in the creation and enforcement of IT software standards and procedures.* Maintain accuracy of the helpdesk database and knowledgebase.Qualifications:* Significant MM/PP SAP experience is essential.* Understanding of production and operations planning, preferably in retail, food, or manufacturing.* Desired experience in ECM, QM, and PM SAP modules.* BA/BS Degree desirable; practical experience/expertise is essential.* Proven software systems experience.* Understanding of database applications, system development, report writing, and SAP ERP.* Experience in production support and project management.* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.* Knowledge of SAP best practices.* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.* Ability to interact with all levels and manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervisionStandard Benefits are:* 25 days holiday + statutory public holidays* Contributory Pension Scheme (up to 6% company contribution)* 4 times salary Life Assurance* Medical Cover (Self) - option to add family at reduced rate* Flexible Benefits scheme (more info below)* 37hr standard working week* Canteen facilities* Free on-site parkingFlexible Benefits include:* Employee Assistance Programme - access to a range of employee advice* Membership of Professional bodies - supporting continuous professional development across career paths* Cycle to work scheme - ability to purchase discounted bikes and cycle equipment* Holiday purchase - available to apply for this at a certain time in the year (normally around November/December)* IT Discounts - discounts across Dell consumer products
