Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the focal point for the oversight of all activity relating to anti-money laundering (AML) and Counter-Financing Terrorism (CFT).
  2. Lead processes from due diligence to post deployment monitoring.
  3. Carry out the function independently and effectively.
  4. Monitor the day-to-day operation of AML systems, processes/controls, and respond promptly to any reasonable request for information from the FCA.
Key Requirements:
  1. Working experience within the compliance & AML Sector, ideally within the financial services industry
  2. Experience as a Senior Manager (SMF16/17) in an FCA regulated firm.
  3. Bachelors / Masters degree in a quantitative field, such as economics, mathematics, or econometrics.
  4. International Compliance Association (ICA) Certificate or similar qualification are highly advantageous.
  5. Excellent oral and written skills and able to communicate with a variety of both internal and external stakeholders.
