Pay: KR3 Start Date: June 2021 or soonerDue to our school expansion,Harrietsham Church of England Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic andcaring Midday Supervisor to start June 2021 or sooner if possible.Harrietsham Church of EnglandSchool is a growing village school just off the A20 between Leeds Castleand Lenham. At present we have 240 children. Our friendly school has acalm, organised atmosphere. At lunchtimes, the children havethe opportunity to play with many resources. Year 5 Play Leaders initiate gamesin both key stages and Buddies help those who need a friend or a listening ear.Midday Supervisors Main Roles andResponsibilities: To help keep the children safe atall timesTo help children use theirutensils properly when eatingTo reinforce good manners at thetableTo initiate positive play in theplaygroundTo interact with the childrene.g. turn skipping ropes; suggest ideas and scoring for mini games; encouragesinging games etcTo support the play leadersgamesTo help look after the equipmentand ensure it is well-treated by the childrenTo investigate and talk throughplayground problems/issues that arise with the children fairlyTo follow the school behaviourpolicyTo report any concerns or seriousissues to a senior member of staff immediatelyThis role needspositive interaction with the children.
