Pay: KR3 Start Date: Immediate We wish to appoint an excellentand enthusiastic Midday Supervisor (MDS) to join our friendly and supportiveteam. We are looking for a MDS who is keen to contribute to our schoolscommunity and who is able to ensure lunchtimesare an enjoyable part of theschool day. The role will involve overseeingpupils in the lunch hall, supervision of pupils in the playground and/or fieldand providing a stimulating, enjoyable, safe environment for the children.We have a supportive andenthusiasticteam of school leaders, teaching staff, support staff andGovernors who together are committed to raise standards. This is a part time appointmentworking 38 weeks per year. 7.5 hours per week, Kent RangeGrade 2 (11.45am - 1.15pm) Our school is committed tosafeguardingand promoting the welfare of the children. The post is subject toan enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.This post is considered to be acustomer-facing position; as such it falls within scope of the Code of Practiceon Englishlanguage requirements for public sector workers. The schooltherefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2010 toensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for theeffective performance of the job requirements.This will be assessed during therecruitment/selection process and probationary stages.
