Job Description

Mid - Senior Product Designer | Financial Services | Hybrid | London BasedI have partnered with a financial services company that is looking at re-imagining the way that liquidity markets operate across commodities, energy and financial markets.They are looking for a mid- senior product designer to join a small and nimble creative team that enjoys being hands on and enjoys working across multiple projects.This is a hybrid role (2-3 days in the office) based in their London office. In total they have 29 offices worldwide and over 1600 employees across Europe, America and Asia.This role will be responsible for creating great digital experiences to increase user satisfaction and productivity, whilst supporting the growth of the company.Day to day

  • Using Figma and FigJam
  • Creating user flows, wireframes and high fidelity interactive prototypes
  • Design thinking and implementing the atomic design methodology
  • Attending daily stand-ups with the design and dev teams
Competencies, skills and experience
  • Excellent working knowledge of design systems and theories
  • In-depth technical and organisational skills when it comes to working in Figma including deep knowledge of team libraries, project branching & merging, component variants, auto layout, and interactive prototyping
  • The ideal candidate will have a balance between the visual and the technical should be second nature to you
  • Technical understanding of standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, responsive layout with media queries, Flexbox, ReactJS, Material UI)
  • You know how a UI is implemented, and have a general understanding of the concept of web components.
