Job Description

Front End Developer (Mid-Level)Salary £45,000 - £50,000paCentral London (Fully remote until post-Covid then a split between office and home)Must be able to travel to the USA several times a year for weeks a timeStart Date ASAPI am urgently recruiting a Front-End Developer (Mid-Level) to work for a leading creative production company. My client produces advertising and marketing content for some of the worlds most recognised brands.The end client for this project is one of the most iconic global tech brands and part of most people’s lives. This really is a truly unique opportunity to work with a company that have changed the landscape of the 21st century.As Front-End Developer you will build/modify responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc. based on the visual briefs. The Front-End Developer will work on localization of the page based on the assets provided which includes, updating links, images, and text, in accordance with the client’s coding standards.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Use the provided frameworks and automation tools to produce microsites for partner and reseller CMSs
  • Test all work in situ in partner sites to ensure partners can take the whole code and put it in their CMS without further coding (except for adding their custom links)
  • Develop new digital assets as identified by supervisor and management
  • Maintain client digital assets to the best of your ability using clean, accessible mark-up according to the latest web standards
  • Help and advise project managers with client’s digital requests
  • Awareness of the clients mobile platform with the ability to build solutions that take advantage of the latest operating system features while remaining performant on the latest devices
    • Experience & Expertise
  • A Minimum of 3 years commercial development experience within an agency
  • Fluent in English, written and oral, due to the nature of the work
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organised
  • In the absence of approved project management tools in a black environment, must possess an ability to break down tasks and self-manage to a degree
  • Knowledge of FE pre-processing (Sass and Browserify)
  • Expertise in web languages and standard technologies, including version control systems (SVN and GIT), repositories, and build tools (Gulp)
  • Expertise in HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3 and JavaScript/JQuery
  • Good JS debugging skills
  • Clear understanding of Usability
  • Proficient in developing to W3C Standards
  • Must be able to travel to the USA several times a year for weeks a time
