Job Description

Microsoft Power Platform Developer- InsuranceWe are currently hiring for a Developer with Power BI experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.Inside IR35Hybrid- Once a week travel to the London office.Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, translate business requirements, and develop them into well-architected custom solutions and interfaces that improve collaboration, productivity, knowledge sharing the automation of workflows and business processes using theMicrosoft Power Platforms.
  • Build, deploy, and support these Microsoft Power Platform applications.
  • Document and demonstrate solution though flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, user guide, and more.
  • Ensure adherence to Risk & Compliance requirements when working with data and developing solutions/ applications.
  • To maintain documentation of functional, solution specifications, and codes according to best practices.
  • Working closely with Architecture and corporate IT Teams
Requirements:
  • Experience in Office 365 development utilizing PowerApps (Canvas/model-driven apps), power automate (Flow), Power BI (creating, Teams, SharePoint Online
  • Experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which includes gathering and analyzing business requirements, functional/technical specifications, designing, developing, testing, deploying the applications and providing production support.
  • Programming/Scripting Languages capability:Python, R, M, T-SQL, JSON, others
  • Capacity to interpret and design database models (MYSQL, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Capacity to create analytics using Power Query and DAX in Power BI.
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Dataverse
  • Integration technologies, APIs, and protocols.
  • Data Architecture experience
  • Previous experience working on a database platform rollout.
  • Certifications related to Microsoft Power tools
