Job Description

Goodman Masson have partnered with an International Bank, to assist with their urgent search for a qualified MI Accountant for a 12 month fixed term contract. You will be based in their London office and sit within the MI, Financial Planning, Valuation Control& Accounts Payable team (team of 4).They are looking for a Qualified Accountant with experience with a background in management accounting from a banking environment both on revenue and cost side (including budgeting and forecasting).Responsibilities

  • Production & Review of Monthly Finance & SBU Management Information Packs
  • Cost Analysis ensuring accurate reporting
  • Assist in planning processes
  • Development, enhancement and improvement of the current MI information Continuous Enhancement of Budgeting & Forecasting process
  • Create a base of Financial knowledge within the Bank to assist business and senior management in their decision making with both retrospective and forward planning MI
  • Build strong relationships with key individuals in the business & support functions
  • Undertake necessary project work or deal with ad hoc request
  • Identify new risks/control gaps within own area and escalate accordingly to your Line Manager and/or Head of Department.
Skills & Experience
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • 2-3 years experience in Management Accounting
  • Revenue and Cost experience
  • Proven experience in adding value to existing reporting
  • Budgeting & Forecasting experience
  • Hyperion system (desirable)
