Redstone Commodity Search are working with a Global Intelligence Company looking to hire a Senior Metallurgical Coal and Coke Analyst to join the commercial team in London. Key Responsibilities / Tasks Responsible for the metallurgical coal market outlook,long term market outlook and contributing to the steel raw materials monitor. Lead the analysis for metallurgical coal and coke including forecasts and analysis of demand, supply, balance, technical assumptions, trade, capacity and prices. Maintain and developstrong relationships within the metallurgical coal and coke space, confidently representing the company at conferences and any client interactions. Support and work alongside the coal, costs, ferroalloys and steel teams. Line management for junior to midlevelanalysts in the team. Key Qualifications / Experience 4+ years of relevant experience as an analyst, editor or researcher working with steel, steel raw materials, iron ore, coal, coking coal, metallurgical coal. Ability to critically analyse data and identifytrends and key drivers. Be able to construct and articulate a well-reasoned and logical argument, evidenced by supporting data. Have the ability to work individually, keeping up with deadlines and consistently produce a high quality of work. Have past experiencein a relevant field, e.g. economics, materials engineering, geosciences or similar. Located in London
