We are looking for a Merchandiser to join this premium multi-channel / high street fashion retailer. It is an original, design led womenswear brand that has grown from strength to strength since its conception, without compromising its integrity as a trustedretailer and a market leader.Job purposeTo support the Merchandising department in delivering a product offer that exceeds the customers expectation and in line with Companys strategy.Principle Accountabilities Setting and flexing of Department Budget Plan and KPIs to ensure profitability across all product categories.Controlling stock levels based on forecasts for the seasonMonitoring sales patterns to highlight any risk or opportunity in any future commitmentDevelop departmental seasonal strategies with Buying DepartmentWork with the buying team to ensure an optimum product range is offered to the customerPresent weekly trade and new line strategy to the businessResponsible for markdown strategy and that it is in line with overall business KPIsReview global store performance by Store Profile/ Department & highlights issues & action solutionsTo be aware of brand/customer profile and ensure the allocation of stock to global markets fits the profileOverseeing team performance and succession planningIdentify and implement merchandising process improvementsBuild and maintain professional relationship with external and internal customersTo keep up to date with the external retail market activityQualifications and Experience Experience operating at Merchandiser or acting merchandiser levelExcellent attention to detailNumerically accurateStrong negotiation skillsProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and WordExperience in a Head Office environmentIf you have the relevant experience for this role, please click the apply button to send your CV to Nadine Tipping, remembering to state your current salary and package.Job Ref: NT - 5001264We regret that due to the volume of applications, only successful applicants will be contacted.
