Mental Health Teaching AssistantsMertonASAP StartTime Plan Education are pleased to be working with a special needs school in Merton. They are recruiting several teaching assistants to start ASAP. These are full-time positions for the remainder of the academic year, via the agency.The school caters for 180 pupils aged 11-19 years old across multiple sites, with EHCPs for SEMH, ASD, social and communication difficulties and moderate learning difficulties. As well as a varied curriculum, they also offer a range of therapies and extra-curricularactivities.The selected applicants will ideally have previous SEN experience, especially with SEMH, ASD, moderate learning difficulties and communication needs. As well as supporting students on a 1:1 basis, you will also be required to support whole classes when needed.You will have a caring, calm personality with a keen interest to progress in the field of SEN.For candidates who commit, the school can offer long term opportunities at a friendly and stable working environment.
