An exciting opportunity has just become available for an RMN/RNLD to join a Private Mental Health Hospital in Roehampton! •*£150 NEW NURSE SIGN UP BONUS!** •Do you know someone who would be interested in this role We offer a £250 referral bonus per successful candidate referred* WARDS AVAILABLE: •Female Eating Disorders (adults) •Mixed Acute (12-17 years) Temporary pay rate: •Week Days: £23ph ltd •Nights & Saturdays: £25ph ltd •Sundays & Bank Holidays: £26ph ltd Hours and length of contract: •Full Time or Part time •37.5 hours per week: 3 shifts 1 week, 4 shifts the next •Long day shifts: 07:30-20:00 •Long night shifts: 19:30 - 08:00 •A regular rotating shift pattern over a 7 day period •Service operates 24/7 Daily Duties: You will be working within the hospital on either the eating disorders service which supports up to 13 adults females experiencing disorders such as e anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder (BED) and other specified feeding or eating disorders. Or as part of the 6 bedded acute inpatient service which supports service users between the ages of 12-17 experiencing mental health issues such as anxiety, OCD, panic disorder, phobias, and PTSD. You will be working as part of the CAMHS Nursing Team caring for young people aged 18 years and suffering from mental health issues. Daily duties include but are not limited to: •Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, a structured approach to nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse •Empowering service users to understand and manage their mental health needs •Supervising team members and contributing to their overall CPD, mandatory training and appraisal process recognising the skills required across the team •Monitor and review Nursing Care plans •Prioritise nursing duties and delegate appropriately and effectively within the shift co-ordination Framework, working as nurse in charge as required, ensuring as far as reasonably practicable a safe environment •Undertake the role of "Preceptor" to newly qualified staff Person specification: The applicant must be DBS cleared for the position advertised and have recent experience within the field.
