Job Description

Mendix, Development, law, cube developmentMendix DeveloperOur client, a leading law firm, is looking for a Development Lead, specialising in Medix. They will be working with the Cubed Product Development team to analyse the needs for the development of new applications or the improvement of existing applications, at an exciting time of growth for the company.Responsibilities:

  • They will manage the Mendix platform and ensure it is maintained and they are kept informed
  • Manage/coordinate the resources of the projects/developers - e.g. design/security standards, quality, making sure everything happens on time, looking at budgets etc
  • This person will create demos when new developments begin
  • Internal facing role, with stakeholders being with the internal subject matter experts - e.g. partners/fee earners
  • Sometimes an external client facing role, depending on the client
  • Team includes Cubed Product Managers, Business Analysts and Programme Managers
  • Provide expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business and design recommendations
  • Determine specifications, plans and designs and develop the most complex and business critical software solutions
  • Responsible for the availability and performance of applications, in particular driving incident and problem to cost effective solutions
  • Partner with other Application Managers, Service Managers and SLA Vendors to resolve incidents and problems across the system landscape
  • Execute agile / scrum methods to improve efficiencies, better bottom line results, create quick wins and higher quality deliverables, participating in daily stand-up meetings when appropriate
