The role provides variety and autonomyworking in a small team environmentAs the Membership Manager you will:Report to the Chief Executive Officer and work closely with the sailing, finance, and house organisations to grow/support all aspects of the membership baseProvide an active link between members and the clubSupport all aspects of the multi-year strategy and in particular the responsibilities assigned to the membership functionUnderstand and articulate the individual needs of the Clubs membership groups, recommend, develop and implement plans to, sustainably, grow key revenues categoriesMaintain and develop relationships with partner organisations, reciprocal clubs, and corporate membersUtilise, or develop, your understanding of the market environment to identify membership trends and recommend plans to support the Clubs strategyArticulate, document and develop compelling membership offers to existing and potential membership categoriesSupport Communication strategies to develop the profile of the globallyWork to develop on-site, virtual and remote events to engage, maintain and grow the membershipAs the Membership Manager, you will have:Ability to work as part of a small team with a can-do attitude.Excellent communication skills (email, telephone, face to face) and proven interpersonal skills.Creative mindset to help develop membership benefits and membership engagement activities.An excellent understanding of CRM systems/databases and data analysisHigh level of proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office programsHave relevant business background demonstrating commercial awarenessDesirable attributesExperience of using website content management systems (CMS) and email marketing systems.Experience of producing and presenting business reportsIf you think this role sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, then wed love to hear from you!
