Job Description

Main Duties of the roleTo support the Membership and Professional Standards Department to:

  • Provide efficient administration and support for the Societys membership and Engineering Council registration processes
  • Process membership and Engineering Council registration applications and elections
  • Respond to Engineering Council registration, membership and subscription enquiries
  • Ensure data integrity of membership and registration CRM records
  • Support activities to recruit, engage and retain members and registrants
  • Contribute to the delivery and achievement of the Departments subscriptions, recruitment and retention strategies and targets
Person Specification
  • Experience of working in a membership/professional body or customer focused environment, dealing with enquiries with tact and diplomacy
  • Experience of giving accurate advice via telephone, email and in person
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills presenting information logically and concisely.
  • Ability to prioritise, plan and organise day to day activities ensuring efficient and effective performance
