Sales Manager - Meeting RoomsFlexible Workspace. Coworking. They want every member to be excited about coming to work, due to their state of the art facilities, packed events and workshop calendar, socials, professional training courses, and wellness programmes.Purpose of the Role:The role of the Meeting Room Sales Manager is to drive meeting room, roaming membership and day office revenue from all sources. This person will be accountable for maintaining high conversion rates from enquiry to booking and upselling add-ons to maximiseeach opportunity.You will be accountable for managing an enquiry pipeline and existing bookings, as well as planning for future opportunities, processing payments, and liaising with the clients and operations team on all needs. You must have excellent communication skillsto ensure all relevant details are obtained from the client and passed to the operational team ahead of all confirmed bookings.Responsibilities:New Business Development:

  • Securing opportunities by developing and nurturing client relationships via phone, email and in person.
  • Manage the full sales life-cycle, from the initial enquiry, proactively follow-up on leads and opportunities, through to the closure of the deal.
  • Undertake key viewings for meeting and conference rooms where needed.
  • To look at existing relationships / leads and source new opportunities.
  • Delivering on-target objectives using the agreed standards.
  • Manage enquiries where required through the CRM system and become efficient in using the system correctly for reporting
  • Contributing to the success of the team by sharing best practice
  • Behaving as an ambassador in a professional manner at all times and ensuring best communication behaviour is maintained with every prospective client
  • Support the sales team and marketing team in driving new business opportunities across office, meeting room and event product lines (as well as exploit other company vertical opportunities)
  • Follow the correct process for using the database and verifying inter-company activity.
  • Attend key events / showcases / networks as an ambassador to the business and to create further business opportunities for the company.
  • Create a suite a reporting platforms to demonstrate successes and business opportunities.
  • Know the market intimately.
  • Establish a suite of 3rd party bookers to aid business growth.
Account Management:
  • Ensure the client experience is market leading.
  • Conduct satisfaction surveys where required and report back to relevant persons.
  • Create new business opportunities where possible.
  • Ensure the retention of corporate / enterprise client business.
  • Identify growth and expansion opportunities.
  • Upsell on all opportunities where possible to complete the full life-cycle of the client.
Other:
  • Report on a weekly basis to the CCO so that the data can be collated for the executive team
  • Work towards a revenue targets set to ensure that company objectives and financial targets are met.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company USPs and the local competition.
  • Help identify pricing trends within the business.
  • Work with the operations team to ensure a smooth onboarding and booking experience.
  • Ensure that all new sales are recorded with accounts to ensure that all clients are invoiced as required.
  • Build a network of meeting room bookers/agents/partners to help grow the offering.
  • Communicate availability to brokers/agents and existing clients on a weekly basis, with a view to maximizing revenue opportunities
  • Be confident in upselling products and ensuring that the option you have offered is the most suitable solution for the client.
  • Develop a food and beverage offering for all to enjoy.
