CK Clinical are recruiting for an experienced Medical Director to join a highly respected global mid-sized CRO company at their site based in London on a permanent basis.Medical Director Role:The main purpose of the role will be to provide medical, scientific and strategic leadership for the successful planning, execution, and reporting of clinical trials. This includes study design, protocol and project plans as well as the review, presentation and interpretation of results in the clinical study report. Responsibilities include:- Provide medical management and expertise for clinical trials; including study design, protocol and project plan development. - Contribute medical input to study reports, regulatory documents, and manuscripts.- Serve as a medical monitor responsible for evaluation and assessment of trial level safety issues.- Participate in new business development including bid defence meetings.Your Background:To succeed in this role, you will be an EU licensed practice board certified physician in any of the below fields:- Cardiology.- Endocrinology.- Infectious Disease.- Gastrointestinal.- Hepatology.You will also have a strong background in clinical research, ideally pharmaceutical related clinical research and proven experience in the leadership of clinical research.
