A London based client working on a next generation medical device has an opportunity for a Software Manager to manage a specialised team of software developers that are working as part of a wider team of scientists and developers. This is on a platform whichcan provide much more in depth, user friendly and accessible information to users with life saving benefits.Medical Device Software ManagerYou will have responsibility for ensuring the output from the Software team is effective to time and quality deadlines and will be responsible for communicating this to key senior stakeholders within the business. You will also have influence over how strategictechnical decisions are made with the development. The client can accommodate hybrid working consisting of a combination of on-site in the Chelsea offices and remote one or two days per week and are also paying a competitive salary with a host of benefits.Medical Device Software Manager ResponsibilitiesIn order to complete the role effectively there are four areas of experience required:- Python code, you must have a working knowledge of Python and be competent at Python problem solving.- Knowledge of Data Science, Data processing and manipulation of data, this is due to the large data sets the client are dealing with.- Linux knowledge, the client operate in Linux so a good understanding of Linux is required- Experience of managing/leading Software teams of 5 - 20 people- Medical device experience, specifically 62304 although 13485 is also useful.Medical Device Software Manager Application ProcessPlease reply with an up to date CV, the process is then a video call followed by an on-site meeting.
