Media Planner & Buyer - Remote Salary: circa £32k, plus excellent benefits and career development Reporting into: Senior Media Planner & Buyer/ Head of MediaThe CompanyAn exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a Media Planner & Buyer with a minimum of 2 years experience in OOH, to join this highly successful global Student Specialist Marketing agency based in Sussex. This role can be fully remote, depending onthe individuals circumstances.Purpose of the RoleThe Media Planner & Buyer is a key member of the Media Activation and Performance team, their role is to identify new OOH media opportunities for our clients which allow them to reach their target audience at the right cost. They consult on media plans matchingthe right brief with the right media. Negotiate and book direct media campaigns. Experience in OOH Media buying is essential, additional experience within Print, Online, Audio, Mobile is an advantageHow the role supports our business planThe role of a SMB is to support and deliver on all media plans for our clients which require non biddable media specifically focused on OOH and can include TV, Print, Online, Audio, Mobile etc). As in-house experts they are required to consult on planningand ensure all delivery is completed to best practice and highest standards.Job Responsibilities Research new media opportunities for our clients (specific to Student Audience) Consult on media plans to ensure the right media is selected Negotiate and book media activity for clients Ensure activity goes live (this includes raising POs and sending assets) Inform clients of successful activation Ensure all activity is tracked accordingly Ensure the campaigns are hitting their KPIs Liaise with suppliers on how to improve performance Escalate any at risk campaigns to the Head of Media A&P Provide insights to clients on campaign performance. This should be as frequent as possible To be up to date with media trends & best practice at all times To be the expert in media and a point of contacts for any media queries.
