TEC Partners are working with an exciting early-stage medical technology company who are developing radical breakthrough technology for a variety of industrial applications.They are currently iterating through in-house prototypes with the aim to develop and validate a full scale product for clinical and field trials. They are looking for a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineer to rapidly expand in-house product development capabilities, and help drive key technical milestones.The successful candidate will join a small, dynamic team, and will be primarily responsible for design development, prototyping, and testing of their portable cooling technology.You will be a key figure in the development lifecycle of our product from frontend feasibility testing, to detail engineering design and DFM. The candidate will have strong theoretical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the underlying scientific and engineering principles of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics. You will also possess the ability to implement these areas of expertise into functional, validated prototypes. Advanced 3D modelling skills will enable the development of CAD models of high complexity and technical feasibility. A good knowledge of materials, manufacturing methods and DFM will enable valuable insights into future production and aid decision making throughout product development.There will also be opportunities to engage with end users and key stakeholders to define product requirements and improve end-to-end user experience.
