Matron - Clinical Development / Deputy Clinical Lead @homeAre you interested in becoming a key member of our innovative @home team in Southwark and Lambeth We are offering a fantastic career opportunity in an exciting, forward thinking integrated acute medical team.As a dynamic and motivated Matron you will lead on the development of new services and pathways within the team,. You will Implement and evaluate a seamless specialist service, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of clinical care. The focusof the role is on clinical development but you will also work clinically to support the patient caseload with the objective of advocating early discharge and hospital admission avoidance through providing acute care in the patients usual place of residence,by the GSTT @home multi-disciplinary team.The post holder will act as the Deputy Clinical Lead for the service providing local and strategic leadership for the service. The post holder will deputize for the clinical lead in their absence.The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of expertise in this field providing advice, education and support to health care professionals and patients and will actively undertake clinical audits.You will be responsible for direct line management of the team and contribute to the ongoing development of clinical practice, research and standards of care within the service, as well as policies, protocols, guidelines and service developments.Closing date; 4th July 2021Interview date; 22nd July 2021For further details / informal visits contact:Gerry Burke -interim Deputy Head of Nursinggerry.burke@gstt.nhs.uk
