Maths teacherSEMH secondary school with age range of 10 - 18Leyton, East London Full timeSeptember startDaily rate of £150 - £220 (DOE - Negotiable)We are currently looking for an experienced Maths teacher to work in a SEMH secondary school delivering Maths to SEMH pupils aged 10 - 18 years old. The role is a immediate start in Leyton for a Maths Teacher with the capabilities working in a SEND school.The school is a great school with great facilities that specialise in working with pupils with SEMH and SEN with an EHCP. Students are taught in small groups at up to a maximum of eight with a teacher and a learning mentor. A small number of students will alsohave a dedicated learning mentor to support them through the school day. The pupils respond well to someone who can be dynamic, engaging and understanding.* This SEMH special secondary school in Leyton, East London who is recruiting a Maths teacher* Full time post* We are looking for a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role* Experience working with SEMH/SEN or PRU pupils is desired but not essential* Adaptability is required as you will be dealing with small classes of pupils who can sometimes display challenging behaviourMust haves/desirables:* QTS or a PGCE (open to unqualified teachers with teaching experience)* Able to start in September full time* Experience teaching* Must have a desire and passion for teaching and working within a challenging environment with children* Strong behavioural management* Empathy, patience, can do attitude* Ability to work under pressureBenefits:* Career progression* Small classes* New building with great facilities If you are interested in this position, please do not hesitate to apply today!
