Overview The Markets business continues to enhance the Risk and Control function, specifically delivering the next phases in the development of a robust framework of Front Office booking controls including pre-trade, preventative, intraday, end of day, and detectivecontrols; also reporting of MI to senior business management and oversight committees including Legal Entity boards. Booking Controls focus on what is booked, where, and why - ensuring adherence to business, desk and individual trader mandates, and also ensuring the integrity of legal entities in preventing material booking errors. Booking Controls also focus on how a tradeis booked - ensuring Front Office bookings are accurate, timely and complete in order to proceed downstream and onwards to internal/external reporting and stakeholder groups. The role is part of the Markets Front Office organisation and will be a key part of the risk & control team responsible for implementing specific controls within the broader Markets booking control framework. This is an exciting opportunity for a practicallyminded, seasoned professional with an in-depth knowledge of traded products combined with a clear understanding of Front Office trading controls. Responsibilities: Programme management for preventative booking control deliveries, with targeted engagement during scoping, design and implementation of controls Integrate seamlessly within the booking model controls team and act as a partner and conduit to the Markets wide programme group. Provide input to capacity planning and scheduling to ensure zero ambiguity across the delivery team Employ full transparency on roles and responsibilities across teams Partner with Business and stakeholder groups including Technology to track and monitor against key milestones and embed robust programme governance Engage with Audit and provide a close and continuous dialogue to ensure a no surprises culture Primary lead on updates to business stakeholders on the roadmap of deliveries Knowledge Experience & Skills: Relevant industry experience preferred in Markets or ICG in-business management, operational risk, middle office, technology, product control or other relevant control function Strong working knowledge and subject matter expertise in Markets traded products and related control principles Project and change management experience Experience in working on controls related technology change Effective negotiation and relationship skills A proactive and "no surprises" approach in communicating issues and strength in sustaining independent reviews Proven track record in collaboration across different businesses, regions and/or support functions Global mindset, with regional and global product understanding Strong problem solving and analytical skills Advanced Excel Qualifications: Undergraduate degree. ------------------------------------------------- Job Family Group: Risk Management ------------------------------------------------- Job Family:Business Risk & Controls ------------------------------------------------------ Time Type: Full time ------------------------------------------------------ Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
