Job Description

Marketing Manager- Independent School Location: Kensington & ChelseaStart Date: February 2022 - negotiableContract: Permanent and full timeSalary: CompetitiveOur client is a well-regarded independent school with an excellent reputation locally and across London and now seeking a permanent Marketing Manager to join the school staff team.We are currently looking for a well organised and enthusiastic Marketing Manager, who is very comfortable with managing communications and actively marketing the school, to both the UK and international markets.To be considered for the position of Marketing Manager you must have excellent marketing experience, with excellent Microsoft Office skills. Also the need to be highly organised and able to work in a busy environment is essential.Summary of the Marketing Manager role: The Marketing Manager will be personally responsible for the delivery and evolution of the schools communications across their website and social media pages, as well as maximising opportunities to enhance the user experience, editing web content and monitoringtraffic and engagement (including PPC).The Marketing Manager will also oversee the wider marketing programme including the advertising campaigns, printed materials schedule (brochures/newsletters), videos, testimonials, results etc and work with colleagues on new initiatives.Marketing Manager - Essential Criteria:

  • An excellent understanding of key technologies including but not limited to:
HTML, Google Analytics, Adboe Suite, SEO, CMS, CSS etc.
  • Have a good understanding of search engine mechanics - meta data, keywords, content etc.
  • An understanding of UK education system (A Levels, GCSE) and university entrance
  • Experience within a marketing role, as either a Web content manager, or a Web marketing officer
  • Good understanding and prior experience of Google Adwords, Facebook advertising and Google Analytics is required. Prior experience of CRM systems (particularly Salesforce)
  • Educated to Degree level and solid CMS and basic HTML experience
Marketing Manager - Desirable:
  • Knowledge of cultural, religious and gender issues
  • Knowledge of international student recruitment market
