Marketing ManagerMembership Body Central London (once restrictions are lifted) Basic Salary circa £45,000 plus excellent benefits pension scheme 12.5% employer, 5% employee contributions, life assurance cover (4 x salary), income protection, 25 days holiday, private health cover, employer support volunteering policy, flexible work arrangements policyOur client a well-recognised professional membership body based in London is currently recruiting for a Marketing ManagerIf you are a Marketing Manager with excellent digital experience and experience of membership associations and / or the construction industry we would love to hear from you.The RoleTo manage, implement and monitor campaigns and outputs to generate prospective member leads and retain existing members. To promote the value of the association and its services to key audiences and stakeholders.Main Duties/Responsibilities: Recruitment & RetentionCreate and implement marketing plans for lead generation and Member retention to support the association growth plan targets.Create and implement inbound marketing strategies for lead generation (online & offline).Create and implement digital lead nurture campaigns, including email automation.Plan and implement the association’s digital marketing, advertising and social media campaigns.Create and maintain website content, layout and conversion strategy.Track and report on the effectiveness and ROI of marketing campaigns at appropriate intervals using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and other relevant reporting systems.Review current member and non-member marketing campaigns, proposing new ideas and methods of reaching the audience.Branding and CollateralBe the association brand guardian, ensuring consistency across the association assets. Work with other stakeholders to further develop the association’s branding and style guides.Work with internal staff and external agencies to project manage the production of the association Marketing collateral to a high standard, including brochures and renewals mailings.Develop excellent working relationships with external suppliers, including design, print, events and other agencies to ensure the association receives excellent service and value for money.Positioning and ProfilePosition the association as a trade association with relevance, impact and influence, through the creation of messaging that supports the association value proposition.Manage and improve association online and offline presence to increase brand awareness among key audiences.Exhibitions, Promotion and ProjectsPlan and manage association industry exhibition attendance (approx. 20 per year), including staff co-ordination, exhibition stand, contra deals and lead generation (when restrictions allow).Work with teams across association to help promote the services they provide.Support regional sales staff in lead generation efforts.Work with the digital team to help implement new digital projects (Website, App, CRM etc)Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills required: EssentialEducated to degree level in a marketing or business-related qualification and / or in a marketing qualification such as the CIM Diploma or Google SquaredSeveral years successful marketing experience with demonstrable experience in both offline and online channelsExcellent understanding of marketing principles and practiceDemonstrable digital marketing campaign experienceExperience in both on and offline marketing activitiesStrong analytical and measurement skills and comfortable working with dataDemonstrable experience in digital advertising (Linkedin, Facebook, Google)Proficiency in Google analytics / Google Tag ManagerExperience in e-marketing / CMS / CRM platforms (we use Kentico, Pardot, Salesforce - but similar systems will suffice)Excellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience of budget managementComputer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and possessing the ability to pick up new software packages easilyDesirableExperience of membership associations and / or the construction industryExcellent copywriting and proof-reading skillsKnowledge of GDPR requirementsExperience of managing exhibition presence and contra dealsProficiency with graphic packages (we do outsource 95% of our design work)To apply to this role please send your CV.Due to the volume of applications we are only able to contact successful applicants.
