Job Description

£34 - £41K + profit share (£37 - £46K) OTEHybrid 2 days office basedDo you love owning your marketing campaigns, enjoy personal success and want to achieve it within a supportive, ambitious, and forward-thinking marketing teamWe are an amazing conference business, with a reputation for delivering first-class conferences and more importantly a great working culture.The role:The role requires you to maximise the commercial opportunity of your events by creating and executing bespoke and strategic marketing plans. You will utilise the full marketing mix and work alongside the delegate and sponsorship sales teams to create a unifiedplan to drive leads, conversion and direct revenue.

  • Manage data research process and key stakeholders
  • Run effective and actionable campaign analysis (pre-, during, and post-event)
  • Email marketing and effective data segmentation
  • Affiliate marketing through speakers, sponsors, media partners and associations
  • Social media strategy and management
  • PR / press efforts
  • Budgeting and cost control
  • Plan and co-ordinate project team meetings
You will also be expected to:
  • Deliver induction training for new starters within the marketing team
  • Contribute to ongoing training of the marketing team
  • Be part of wider cross-functional projects on behalf of the marketing function
Attributes:
  • 2+ years experience in a direct marketing role in conferences or exhibitions
  • A proven track record of successfully running your own marketing campaigns
  • Ability to carry out marketing plans autonomously
  • Highly effective time management and prioritisation of short and long-term projects
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to apply copywriting principles to external marketing communications
  • Able to conduct robust data analysis to inform the direction of their marketing campaigns
  • Able to provide manager and project teams with detailed feedback
  • Excitement about driving commercial results through marketing
  • Understand the mission and values of the department and organisation
  • Experience of the following desired (but not required): Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, Google Adwords
