Job Description

My client, is a Private Equity firm looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team on 12 month mat leave cover.Key Purpose To plan and implement the firms marketing and communications strategies, with a responsibility for Asia. To manage an extensive conference-speaking and sponsorship programme; proprietary events, PR, marketing collateral and the firms digital presence. To manage technology platforms including, CRM (Salesforce), mass mailer (Pardot) and corporate website To create opportunities for relationship-building with the firms target audiences, helping the investment team to generate private equity deal flow and supporting our investor relations programme.Key Tasks & Responsibilities:Digital:

  • Management of the firms web presence and content - website and external conference and media sites, oversee work by more junior team members and ensure content is published in a timely and accurate fashion.
Conference Programme
  • Manage my clients brand and reputation by creating opportunities for visibility through organising speaking engagements and conference sponsorships. Including conference contract planning and negotiations.
Proprietary Events
  • Develop event strategy, context, and target audiences (using Salesforce).
  • Deliver successful events that are valuable to the Investment Team, Investor Relations and Capital Raising to build the Asian brand profile.
Research, information resources and content
  • Contribute to/draft presentations and written materials, making use of the firms library of existing content
  • Produce investment case studies/prepare content for the website
PR
  • Manage the coordination of the firms interaction with the media: interface with the firms PR agency in London and in press interviews; drive proactive and reactive PR programmes
ESSENTIAL
  • A minimum of four years B2B financial or professional services marketing experience
  • Wide-ranging experience of the marketing communications mix
  • Strong writing skills
  • A deep understanding of the principles of CRM and Website management
DESIRABLE
  • Formal marketing qualification
  • An understanding of marketing dynamics in the private equity industry
