Job Description

Working closely and reporting into the Head of Marketing the successful candidate will be a bright and analytically minded individual who is looking to become part of a small team that is continuously looking at new ways of engaging with customers and delivering added value.This exciting opportunity will mean you will be working on a broad range of marketing initiatives and as such it demands an energetic and ambitious all-rounder who has experience of both on and offline.You should feel confident in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Amongst other things you’ll be responsible for the day to day; social media strategy; customer review management; monitoring and updating web content; Affiliate channels; development of sales support and marketing collateral; producing and sending marketing e-mails, providing daily weekly reports on channel performance; in addition to general administrative duties.Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day requirements of social media including but not limited to daily monitoring and posting, scheduling, customer interaction, competition and campaign management and reporting.
  • Responsible for the creation of engaging content including developing highly targeted SEO features, in addition to writing SEO friendly copy for content use across our digital and social media platforms.
  • Manage all external websites and customer review platforms on daily basis.
  • Management, reporting and administration of the company reviews and invite programme.
  • Be the day to day marketing lead for the eCRM system, email project activity and ongoing email campaign management and reporting.
  • Manage the day to day affiliate relationships, channel and feed performance and tracking.
  • Day to day management of the company websites and blogs, managing CMS and liaising with developers where appropriate to ensure all content is accurate and up to day.
  • Development of sales and marketing collateral including print management with 3rd party suppliers.
  • Produce regular internal reports on internal and competitor performance, providing recommendations to the business.
  • Skills, experience and qualifications
  • A 2:1 degree and CIM qualification desirable with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proven relevant experience of delivering a broad range of marketing channel mix in a B2C environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of using Content Management Systems ideally Word Press and Umbraco.
  • Experience of SEO best practice and experience of auditing and creating SEO friendly content and technically friendly websites.
  • Experience in managing, email systems and databases, building, sending and reporting on emails ideally with Campaign Monitor.
  • A natural flair for creating high quality, engaging content to enhance our social and content position and using social media management and scheduling platforms, ideally Agora Pulse.
  • Can demonstrate: an active social media presence; website/blog; and marketing campaign collateral development.
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and experience in managing databases, email marketing tools and website content management systems.
  • Good knowledge and understanding the marketing department, its functions and marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Excel knowledge including a range of functions, pivot tables an advantage, backed with a strong mathematical/statistical skillset
  • Confident with scheduling and monitoring tools and click stream analytics such as Google Analytics.
  • Ability to manage projects simultaneously, often with critical deadlines.
  • Manages own time effectively and adapts to conflicting demands to ensure the task is completed.
  • Proactive and acts on own initiative, to be able to make sense of issues, identify and solve problems.
  • Listens and questions effectively to gain a clear understanding of what is required.
  • Good communication, persuasion and motivational skills.

  • Experience in Adobe Creative suite and particularly photoshop an advantage.
