Marketing Director/ CMO/ Head of Brand needed by a SaaS disruptor within the ecommerce tech space. This disruptive AI SAAS tech organisation is solving one of the most negative aspects of the eCommerce customer experience, a problem that reduces conversion, increases abandonment, and erodes customer loyalty. They have pilot data that proves both consumer delight and increased revenue for retail/marketplace customers and will change the way consumers shop. This role involves joining them on the journey through pilot study, global launch, and market scaling.The early part of the role focussed on market creation and communications - highlighting a problem thats well known but difficult to overcome iteratively, to the right customer groups within global eCommerce/marketplaces, while positioning this technology as the solution. It will then focus more on go-to-market strategy, product launch, product marketing and lead generation over time.This is a small team of senior and experienced experts, you will define the strategy and execute hands-on without a direct team in the early days.The Marketing Director/ CMO/ Head of Brand will:-*Launch a brand engagement program, defining tone of voice and applying to collateral and digital experiences.*Deliver a compelling narrative to clients, prospects, advisers, candidates, and employees.*Build a consistent customer experience across all touchpoints.*Lead the development of all brand campaigns.*Work alongside the founders to drive the positioning and marketingThe Marketing Director/ CMO/ Head of Brand must have:-*World-class experience innovating and disrupting large scale consumer-facing software products (eg eCommerce, media, travel, entertainment, content streaming, mobile experience, etc)*Experience working with a SaaS tech software vendor*The ability to take complex ideas and turn them into a simple narrative that engages audiences at every level.*Comfort setting the strategy as well as being hands-on*Experience of eCommerce / marketplace customer experience is an advantage*Great campaign management.The role is remote/home based but its likely there will be a London hub in the medium term, so must be commutable to central London.
