Job Description

The Opportunity:An exciting and dynamic opportunity has arisen to lead the marketing efforts of an ambitious and forward-thinking food delivery start-up, focussing on the luxury market in Central London.The successful candidate will report directly to the Founder of the company and will have end-to-end ownership of growth strategy, partnerships, brand, acquisitions, PR, insights, and data development.This is an opportunity for an exceptional Marketeer who has previously delivered significant growth and is confident in their ability to do so in the consumer-driven premium restaurant food delivery market.Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute the companys marketing and brand strategies
  • Engage in the most appropriate marketing activities to meet the companys strategic objectives. This may include, but is not restricted to, the management of the companys approach to brand, social media, content, digital marketing, events, partnershipsand more:
  • Plan, implement and manage marketing and lead generation campaigns and measure results
  • Develop and maintain a consistent corporate image and ensure that the brand is well communicated across all channels
  • Establish a data-driven approach within marketing - define the metrics the business should use to assess the brands growth and the success of the companys marketing initiatives
  • Report on relevant market and audience insights
  • Monitor, prepare and report on any marketing communications and related sales activity
  • Liaise and work closely with digital marketing and PR agencies when appropriate
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
  • A proven successful track record of success in marketing roles
  • Commercial, creative and strategic acumen with the ability to develop and evolve marketing strategy
  • Experience of planning and executing marketing campaigns utilising the full range of tools, techniques and measurement available to ensure maximum return on investment
  • A strong understanding of data insight and analytics so as to drive the growth and engagement of the companys app user base and increase commercial returns
  • An interest in the dynamics of the food delivery marketplace and in particular the luxury segment; experience of the sector would beneficial but is not essential for the right person
  • A self-starter with entrepreneurial drive and spirit, having a start-up mentality - comfortable thinking strategically while also being hands-on and at ease mutli-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Result oriented with a positive "can do" attitude
  • Strong motivation, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Experience within the luxury market would be advantageous
  • A degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business administration, advertising or related field is anticipated
