Job Description

Job title: Data AnalystLocation: Hyde Park, London (flexible working available)This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the internal marketing team of Chestertons, highly successful and long established property specialists.We are looking for a talented data analyst to join our growing Digital Marketing department and work alongside our experienced Web & Data team. This is a new role within the team, and a great opportunity to use and expand your skills in a dynamic, fast-pacedenvironment. Chestertons is one of the UKs oldest estate agents and as well as generating a substantial amount of data every day, has a large and valuable historic database. The successful candidate will have access to bespoke tools to interrogate the databaseto identify opportunities and provide insights to help Chestertons maintain its rapid growth strategy.In this role, youll be responsible for:

  • Extracting, analysing and interpreting large amounts of data from a range of sources in order to influence business decisions
  • Working with the Senior Leadership Team to develop new ideas and create clear reports
  • Identify new ways to use datasets from across other functions of the business (such as Recruitment)
Person / skills profile:
  • Excellent data handling skills with relevant previous experience
  • A curiosity and enthusiasm about using algorithms to solve problems and sharing your passion for data with others
  • Proficiency in GoogleAnalytics or similar is preferable but not essential
  • The ability to manage several concurrent priorities and projects is also important, as this role will require working with multiple departments
  • A good understanding of statistics with the ability to perform statistical analyses and build statistical models
  • Ownership mentality: not just doing what youre asked, consider whether it should be done another /better way
