Job Description

Marketing Campaign Executive - LONDONWere looking for an experienced and enthusiastic B2B event marketer to play a key role in launching our exciting new business technology events portfolio. The Marketing Campaign Executive will work in close collaboration with the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for creating and executing exceptional multi-channel campaigns (including email, social, content and digital marketing) that meet or exceed event delegate revenue targets (revenue, quantity and quality) and engagement KPIs.Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Marketing Campaign Executive:1. Campaign Planning:

  • Work with the Event Producer to understand the delegate value proposition, target audience and the industry and competitive landscape
  • Analyse previous relevant conference campaigns and highlight marketing implications
  • Create a marketing plan outlining how the event KPIs will be delivered, including proposed communications plan, tactics, and allocation of the event marketing budget
  • 2. Prospect Data Selection and Management:
  • Work with the Data Team to audit data owned vs. the brief, and implement a plan for addressing data gaps
  • Seek new sources of prospect data for list research and work with the Data Team on custom data build projects - ensuring alignment with the wider brand data strategy
  • Work with the Data Team to select relevant campaign data from marketing databases
  • Ensure that event campaign data is targeted and a balanced reflection of the target audience profile
  • Ensure campaign data selections are large enough to deliver the event KPIs - based on analysis of previous conversion rates
  • 3. Partnerships:
  • Identify and develop relationships with key industry and media partners to extend product reach and drive market credibility
  • Manage partner deliverables and analyse campaign effectiveness
  • Work with Head of Marketing to coordinate brand-wide agreements where appropriate
  • 4. Working with Telesales:
  • Ensure timely provision of relevant leads to the delegate sales team
  • Work with the Event Producer to ensure telemarketers are given a thorough brief on the event proposition
  • Ongoing analysis of campaign performance, refining marketing activity to respond to prospect feedback
  • 5. Campaign Delivery
  • Create event websites and landing pages, in accordance with brand guidelines
  • Write engaging marketing copy that communicates event USPs, speaker information and urgency
  • Work with designers to create print and digital assets to run across various channels, in accordance with brand guidelines
  • Deliver email, social media, digital advertising, content and partnership marketing campaigns as per the marketing communications plan, on time and to budget
  • Keep the marketing communications plan and marketing budget updated at least once a week
  • 6. Campaign Analysis
  • Track the performance of all marketing channels on an ongoing basis, proactively reviewing tactical plans and pivoting marketing activity based on whats working
  • Prepare a full post-event marketing report - including conversions/ROI by channel and delegate audience breakdown
  • 7. Other:
  • Devise new commercially viable ideas to improve marketing campaigns
  • Support sponsorship and exhibition promotional requirements and lead generation campaigns
  • Support Event Producer with the creation of content including speaker interviews, white-papers and video
  • Handle ad-hoc delegate enquiries
  • Attend events and assist with on-site operations as required
  • Lead special projects as required by the Head of Marketing
  • Any other duty as appropriate to post holders skills and experience as required

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar position
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
