Job Description

Marketing Assistant / CoordinatorThe OpportunityWorking for this new formed start-up, your role as the Marketing Assistant / Coordinator will be very varied and call upon a range of skills and experiences. It is a fantastic chance to be involved in the strategic as well as the operational side of this ambitious company, who are in the midst of developing and launching their proposition and services.The Job (example duties)

  • Proactively look at ways of developing the name and nature of the business
  • Engage on various forums relevant to the correct audiences
  • Establish relationships with bloggers to get them to help spread the word
  • Approach relevant podcasts trying to secure slots to talk about the new business
  • Look at ways to gain media coverage and PR for the business (trade, online, local, national)
  • Create a social presence and tone of voice and run that community
  • Build an online reputation via recommendations / testimonials etc.
  • Engineer strategic relationships with like-minded businesses
  • Develop an affiliate program with relevant companies and individuals
  • Gather insights from conversations and input these into the business where appropriate
  • Be involved in lots of other ad-hoc duties
