Customers in over 150 countries look to our expertise in pricing ,analytics and news to deliver greater transparency and efficiency to markets. The Agriculture & Food pricing team is a global team responsible for key pricing benchmarks across the world covering markets such as Grains, Oilseeds, Animal Feed and more. The Impact: This is an exciting opportunity to help drive S&P Global Commodity Insights Agriculture & Food price assessment s across the EMEA region. The Associate Editor will be responsible for market coverage and driving our existing price assessmentsforward . Whats in it for y ou:

• Opportunities to represent S&P Global Commodity Insights at industry events, face-to-face meetings, presenting at conferences, webinars and podcasts to further develop S&P Global as a significant presence in the Agriculture & Food markets.
• The successful candidate would contribute to a fast paced , and dynamic team based in London that works across the Agriculture & Food markets.
• Assist in identifying , developing, and executing new price assessment opportunities across the Agriculture & Food markets.

Responsibilities:

• Leading market coverage on Agriculture & Food markets by r eporting on daily physical trad e activity including bids, offers and other relevant information .
• Building and managing our database of contacts , seek potential new sources to contribute to our assessment process and developing a close business relationship with market participants .
• I dentifying opportunities to develop and refine methodology as well as help ing launch new price assessments .
• Writing daily and weekly commentar ies and daily assessment rationale explaining the trends driving prices .
• Creating news stories and multi-media coverage .
• Work closely with relevant units across the organization such as commercial, analytics and news.

What Were Looking For:

• E xperience of Agriculture & Food markets .
• Strong numeracy skills and the ability to apply basic math functions in Excel .
• Strong communication skills that demonstrate good listening, clear writing style , and strong verbal skills. The ability to communicate across a wide range of groups and personalities internally and externally.
• Fluent in English with e xcellent English writing skills .
• Entrepreneurial and self-starter mindset with effective problem-solving skills .
• An a bility to multitask and prioritize under tight deadlines .

Other qualifications

• A solid understanding of economics and commodities markets fundamentals.
• Additional language skills would be an advantage, especially Arabic, French or Norwegian.
• Degree in Agronomics, Sciences , Journalism, Economics, Finance, Business or similar.
• Experience in price reporting or market reporting is a benefit .
