Job Description

Venn Group are currently partnered with a Global Leading Technology company who are responsible for the smooth running of their Global Banks technological day to day. My client is looking to employ a Market Data and Trade System Analyst to join on a 6 monthrolling contract. The successful candidate will need to have the following:Key Responsibilities:

  • System Maintenance and Development:
    • Maintain, monitor, and develop Market Data Systems, Trade Systems, and Applications infrastructure for all EMEA branches
    • Manage upgrades for MDS and Trade servers, infrastructure, and applications
  • Technical Support:
    • Act as the principal point of contact for support, maintenance, and enhancement of Market Data and Trade Systems and Applications
    • Provide support and troubleshooting for all aspects of MDS Infrastructure and Applications used by users across EMEA
  • Collaboration and Project Management:
    • Liaise with various technical teams (Server group, Network group, Application group, IT Security group, Voice group) for project participation, lifecycle environments, and roll-out of new MDS and Trade application products
    • Collaborate with IT Security, Audit, and Compliance groups for MDS and Trade Systems and Applications-related queries and solutions
  • Documentation and Compliance:
    • Ensure technical documentation is created and maintained at an appropriate level of detail, reflecting the live production environment
    • Ensure adherence to the organizations policy and processes
  • Vendor Management:
    • Supervise vendor representatives attending the organizations offices for activities related to the support, maintenance, or enhancement of MDS and Trade Systems and Applications
Additional Tasks:
  • Perform infrastructure and application tasks related to various financial platforms, including Refinitiv, Bloomberg, ICAP, and internet-based Market Data and Trading applications
  • Understand and manage networking, cabling, firewall, Citrix, and SCCM
  • Utilize tools such as SCCM, TeraTerm, PuTTY, and RDC for efficient system administration
  • Demonstrate project management skills and contribute to automated client build technologies, software packaging, and software distribution
  • Ensure the delivery of Broker and Market Data services across the OSI reference model
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in supporting and administering Market Data Systems and Trading Applications
  • Strong knowledge of networking, cabling, firewall, Citrix, and SCCM
  • Familiarity with financial platforms such as Refinitiv, Bloomberg, and ICAP
  • Project management skills and experience in software distribution
