Based at our London HQ, successful candidates will track and analyse the communications and media markets in assigned countries as well as thematic focus areas. Working underthe supervision of the teams director and closely with a team of analysts and business development managers, successful candidates will develop and work on a combination of models and forecasts, analytical reports and consulting projects.Job Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative analysis and forecasting of adoption and service revenue for communications and media services across assigned countries
• Prepare and manage analytical reports including Country Intelligence Reports, Telecom Insiders and Global Outlook Reports, built around primary and secondary research as well as insights derived from GlobalDatas proprietary databases
• Contribute, execute and manage (in the case of Senior Analysts) consulting projects
• Respond to client requests for ad-hoc research, analysis and reports and provide proactive and professional relationship management, including participation in account planning, sales renewals and face-to-face client meetings and presentations
• Support marketing activities

Qualifications & Experience

• For Analyst applicants, professional experience of 2+ years, preferably in market research and consulting in the communications and media industries
• For Senior Analyst applicants, professional experience of at least 4-7 years, preferably in market research and consulting in the communications and media industries
• Experience with macroeconomic forecasting, market demand analysis, scenario planning and/or financial modeling
• For Senior Analysts, experience successfully managing consulting or custom projects
• Understanding of the drivers and trends impacting the telecommunications industry
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong academic background: top-tier university preferred
• Strong analytical and research skills and ability to think creatively
• Very strong written and oral communication skills in English
• Fluency in Spanish, French or Mandarin preferred
• Superior attention to detail and commitment to quality work
