Marine Assistant Underwriter / Broker Salary: £22,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience.Location: for the foreseeable future working from home, with rotation / full attendance to be reviewed when appropriate. At present role involves remote induction and training. PurposeThe core of the role is handling the placing of UK and European small commercial craft.This covers the tasks around new business, mid-term adjustment and renewal requirements of both direct clients and broker accounts. For example, receiving new enquiries either through email / over the phone, processing the risk, issuing the quotation or slip and following up and handling any queries with the cover. Handling any endorsements mid policy and issuing renewal notices and following the renewal process.In addition to the above, there is a small amount of CPA, Marine trades and marine liabilities.Statistical information and bordereaux production will be required per month. The PersonYou will be reliable, organised and have a marine background. Proactive and process driven in order to deliver the best service to clients, you will be capable of making logical decisions on a daily basis.
