Job Description

Manufacturing Business Process Analyst- Remote- 12 Months- £22-£27 PAYEA global Pharmaceutical company are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Business Process Analyst to join their team on an initial 12 month assignment. The successful candidate will support a multi-year, multi-disciplinary digital transformation programwithin the Manufacturing Excellence team to support the companys manufacturing division. This primarily focusses on the processes associated with manufacturing operations and execution, with the goal of optimizing the performance of our capital assets.Responsibilities:

  • Provide systems expertise to the business operations teams by understanding how to maximise business value through supporting processes with our digital tools and platforms.
  • Translating the business process designs into user stories or user requirement specifications for the functional initiatives.
  • Develop key user competency and capability, through robust process documentation and training delivery (train-the-trainer model), to ensure knowledge is transferred and sustained by the organisation.
  • Act as part of the support escalation model to troubleshoot issues and help end users in utilizing the systems effective by being a knowledge point for the manufacturing processes and systems design within in the organization.
  • Lead the business analysis activities for manufacturing capabilities; ensuring that cross pro-cess opportunities are identified, understood, and leveraged.
  • Actively contribute within your assigned projects within the programs umbrella, understanding the requirements from the business, providing expertise in our processes and systems.
  • Develop and deliver key user training through a train-the-trainer model as we deploy the digital platforms across different sites and regions.
  • Translate principles, policies, and process design into high-quality end user documentation to drive compliant use of our manufacturing systems and tools.
  • Act as point of escalation for key users in the use of the business processes systems, providing education on the systems and developing high-quality process documentation.
  • Collaborate with key users to gather and manage master data for new deployments. Work with data engineers to identify data requirements and flows through system integrations
  • Cooperate with internal SMEs, external partners, and service providers to identify and assess potential improvement suggestions.
  • Contribute actively to the internal manufacturing systems community to develop and share best-practices.
Skills/ Experience:
  • University Bachelors degree in relevant subject such as Production Management, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, IT or Supply Chain.
  • Solid computer literacy / digital fluency.
  • Working knowledge of key manufacturing management concepts, frameworks and functional processes and be able to communicate with stakeholders using applicable terminology.
  • Appreciation of the Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Quality compliance landscape within a hazardous chemicals manufacturing environment, and the implications thereof.
  • IT systems support and administration, including relevant master data management.
  • Knowledge of Agile development & Operational Excellence.
  • Operational experience working in the hazardous process manufacturing industries (e.g., chemicals, pharma, oil & gas etc).
  • Developing, manging, supporting, or using (as a key user) digital systems.
  • Working on (as part of a team) or leading projects.
  • Developing & delivering sustainable training to users, translating key concepts and system usage to appropriate business language.
  • Working in a multi-cultural, complex matrix organisation.
  • Working with external consultants, IT / technology partners & in-house IT departments.
  • Experience working with OutSystems or other low-code / no-code application development tools.
  • Ability to work effectively fully remotely (occasional international business travel required).
  • Analytical thinker - solves problems quickly and effectively. Breaks down complex problems into simple and manageable steps.
  • Flexible mindset, being open to new ways of working and adjusting the approach to the scope.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Team player - able to collaborate and cooperate with team members to get the optimal results for the team.
  • Able to develop relationships with stakeholders, gaining trust and respect, while managing expectations on delivery.
  • Able to work in a self-directed manner, taking the initiative to manage your workload to meet project priorities and timelines.
  • Proficiency in key IT systems such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Share-Point, Teams). Capability in PowerBI (or other data visualisation tool) advantageous, but not required.
